About Me
I’m Samantha Gibb, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Utah, with over a decade of experience in the field. My journey began in the medical field, where I developed a deep understanding of healthcare before transitioning into mental health. This background gave me valuable insight into the limitations of strictly traditional treatment approaches. As a provider with a witchy, intuitive style, I blend conventional therapies with holistic and non-traditional practices to offer a personalized, expansive healing experience.
I hold a Master of Social Work from the University of Denver and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Utah. Over the years, I’ve worked as an individual therapist with Corner Canyon Counseling in Draper, UT, and Sokya Health in Washington before starting my private practice. I also worked in psychiatric hospital settings with individuals experiencing severe and persistent mental illness and served as Clinical Director for an inpatient psychiatric hospital in McCleary, WA.
Today, I not only provide therapy but also clinical supervision and consultation for mental health professionals. I am a Washington State Approved Supervisor (listed on the state registry) and able to provide supervision in both Washington and Utah. My supervision style is relational, collaborative, and anti-oppressive, helping clinicians build confidence in trauma-informed care, dissociation, identity-affirming practice, and the messy, real work of being human in the therapy room.
I’m trained in EMDR, certified as a clinical hypnotherapist (ASCH Level 2), a Certified Mindfulness-Informed Clinician, and hold certifications as a Kundalini Reiki Master and Usui Reiki Level 2 practitioner. These trainings reflect my belief in integrating evidence-based methods with holistic approaches when it best serves the individual.
At the heart of my work is a commitment to helping people heal and grow, whether they are clients in the therapy room or clinicians finding their footing in practice. My passion is client care—both in the work I do directly with clients and, even more so, in guiding clinicians as they grow their ability to support healing in trauma, depression, dissociation, anxiety, and beyond. By strengthening clinicians, I contribute to the ripple effect of client care reaching further
