Euryale Enitan, LMHCA (she/her)
Therapist
I am Euryale Enitan, an Associate Mental Health Therapist practicing under the clinical supervision of Samantha Gibb, LICSW. My approach to therapy is collaborative and strengths-based, with a specialization in somatic and attachment based EMDR, complex trauma, systemic
oppression, culture, and relationships. I especially love working with women, LGBT people, immigrants, and people of color who are wanting to process trauma, have a better understanding of self, and learn to navigate the world in a more sustainable way. I am a Black/biracial lesbian with a diagnosis of ADHD and bipolar disorder that aims to provide inclusive care to individuals that have historically been unable to access adequate mental health care from providers with a shared identity.
My Story
My journey to becoming a therapist began with my own experiences seeking mental health care and a deep belief that no one is beyond help. Before entering the field, I spent several years involved in mutual aid, community care, and activism, learning how collective support can be a profound force for healing. My desire to continue learning about mental health and how systems impact health outcomes and access to care led me to pursue clinical training as a therapist. I earned my Master in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2025 from Lamar University.

Clinical Background
My educational background includes learning about the impacts of systems, society, culture, and relationships. My professional experience includes work in private practice, group practice, and crisis hotlines providing services to trauma survivors, LGBT people, people of color, women, and those impacted by systemic oppression. During my internship, I received specialized training in EMDR and gained experience treating complex trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and adjustment related stress. My educational and professional experiences have shaped how I approach counseling and contribute to my understanding of the ways identity, society, and the environment impact mental health.

Therapeutic Approach
I believe that therapy is a collaborative relationship that is based upon safety and trust. As the counselor, I am a compassionate witness to the hardship and struggles that people are going through. I am there as a sounding board, but also to provide suggestions, feedback, and accountability along the way. I believe that people need to feel heard and encouraged in order to get to a place where they feel empowered and capable of tackling their own struggles without assistance.
I approach counseling using the theories of Relational-Cultural Therapy and Narrative Therapy. I am trained in somatic and attachment-based EMDR and utilize Solution-Focused Therapy, Adlerian Therapy, and various Cognitive-Behavioral approaches. I have extensive educational training on the impacts of systemic oppression and its role in shaping mental health outcomes and access to care.

A Note on My Work
I approach therapy as a collaborative process and consider clients to be the experts on their own experiences. My role as a therapist is to provide guidance, support, and tools to navigate challenges. I aim to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where people can explore their thoughts, feelings, and patterns at their own pace. Starting therapy can be scary and whether you’re working through trauma, anxiety, or life transitions, my goal is to meet you where you are and help you build resilience, insight, and a sense of empowerment.
