Samantha Gibb, LICSW (she/her)
Clinical Director & Supervisor, Therapist
I’m Samantha Gibb, LICSW, Founder and Clinical Director of Shoreview Psychotherapy. I’m a trauma-focused therapist and clinical supervisor who believes healing happens best in relationship, with care that is grounded, flexible, and responsive to the real complexity of being a person.
I specialize in working with clients who have experienced complex trauma and dissociative disorders, including Dissociative Identity Disorder. I have also received specialized training in gender-affirming care and in working with the trans community. Though I do have special interests and specialties as a therapist, at my core I am a generalist and have extensive experience with anxiety, depression, PTSD, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, and religious trauma. I take an integrative approach that blends evidence-based therapy with intuitive and holistic practices when they meaningfully support healing.
My Story
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Utah, with over a decade of experience across medical, outpatient, and inpatient mental health settings.
Before entering social work, I spent seven years working in the medical field. That experience gave me a deep understanding of healthcare systems, as well as a clear view of their limitations when care becomes rigid or overly procedural. This background continues to shape my integrative, flexible approach to therapy.
