Group Clinical Supervision For Washington Associate Clinicians Working Toward Licensure

Clinical supervision should do more than count hours. It should change how you think.
This small group supervision cohort is designed for associate clinicians in Washington State who want to develop a grounded, reflective clinical practice -- one that actually makes sense of why clients do what they do, and why we do what we do in response.
Supervision here is trauma-informed, which means every case we look at together starts with the same questions: What has this person lived through? What is their nervous system doing right now? What is happening relationally, in the room, between you? Those questions don't require you to specialize in trauma. They just require you to be curious about the whole person in front of you.

What This Group Is
This is a small, closed cohort of 6 to 8 associate clinicians meeting biweekly on Thursdays at 5:00 PM via Zoom. Sessions run 90 minutes with the option to extend to 2 hours when the work calls for it.
The group is structured around case consultation and collective clinical thinking. You bring your cases, your questions, and your uncertainty. Before I weigh in, we hear from the group. The goal is to build your capacity to think clinically, not just to get the right answer from a supervisor.
We focus on case conceptualization, clinical decision-making, countertransference, and the relational dynamics that shape treatment. You will leave sessions thinking differently about your clients and about yourself as a clinician.

Who This Is a Good Fit For
This group is well suited for associate clinicians who are open to a relational, trauma-informed way of thinking about clinical work. You do not need to specialize in trauma to benefit from this space. You do need to be genuinely curious, willing to sit with complexity, and interested in developing a clinical voice that is authentically your own.
If you want a supervision experience that goes beyond paperwork and hour counts, this is that.

This Is an Affirming Space
This group is explicitly anti-racist, anti-sexist, anti-homophobic, and anti-transphobic. Clinicians from marginalized communities are welcome and valued here. All supervisees are expected to bring those same commitments to their clinical work. This is not a neutral space, and that is intentional.
